25 Nov 2016

A day ago, we reported that Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor , the lead stars of Befikre , turned showstopper for the soiree that was organized by the French ambassador in association with Yash Raj Fashion label Divani. During the interaction, Ranveer Singh had a few confessions to make about his director, taskmaster Aditya Chopra.Calling Aditya Chopra as a legendary tyrant, Ranveer Singh went on to talk about his mentor and jokingly mentioned that he is the hardest taskmaster. Whilst sitting in the audience section during this session was also Adityas mother and Yash Chopras wife Pam Chopra, Ranveer questioned her, My God Pam Aunty kaise paida kia aapne? Though Ranveer Singh is Aditya Chopras discovery, as his first film was Band Baaja Baarat , under Yash Raj production, this is the first film where Adi has directed the actor. Vaani Kapoor disagreed to the statement and she too teased her director adding that she better be the heroine for his next film (since she supported him). Ranveer revealed that Aditya has a soft corner only for a couple of people and when the actor constantly asks him repetitive questions, Adi often ignores or doesnt bother to give a clear answer to it. Further, Ranveer who was in his elements continued to talk about his rapport with the filmmaker and added that Adi doesnt even use his name while addressing him. When a journalist questioned about what word does Adi use to call Ranveer, the latter smilingly stated that he cant use the word on this platform but will give a hint that it starts with C. Agreeing to it was also Vaani Kapoor, who too stated that she too was addressed once or twice with that word. However, this doesnt stop Ranveer Singh from talking about the positive traits of the director as he continued to praise him as one of the most fascinating human beings and a very creative person. Extensively shot in Paris, the dream rom-com of Aditya Chopra, Befikre is slated to release on December 9.
