Team Rangoon celebrates its virtual success with a grand party

After having directed films like Kaminey and Haider, the prolific film maker Vishal Bhardwaj is now readying his next project Rangoon , a film that happens to be a period film that has been set during the historic Second World War. Readers may recall that, the very moment Vishal Bhardwaj announced Rangoon ; it started making news for many reasons. Knowing Vishal Bhardwajs penchant for perfection, everyone was eager to witness the premises of the film. Secondly, Vishal Bhardwaj managed a casting coup of sorts by casting the never-before attempted trio of Kangana Ranaut Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.No sooner the trailer of Rangoon was released; it created a strong buzz about the film. So much so that, the films trailer reached over a staggering 7 million views on YouTube within three days of its release. And in order to celebrate the virtual success, a party was arranged at producers Sajid and Warda Nadiadwalas house, which was attended by the entire cast and crew of Rangoon.Warda Nadiadwala took to the social media and shared the adjoining photograph of the success party. Amongst the prominent ones were Shahid Kapoor and his dearest wife Mira Rajput, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sajid Nadiadwala and Warda Nadiadwala herself. Warda Nadiadwala aptly captioned the photograph as And More love.thank u Love ul Team #Rangoon. In another photograph that she had posted, Warda Nadiadwala captioned Tysm u guys!!! for the love and positive response to #Rangoon trailer and creative love @shahidkapoor #saifalikhan #kanganaranaut #sajidnadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson @rangoonthefilm @viacom18motionpictures @misterchinni. While one of the films lead star Shahid Kapoor was present, one did miss the presence of both Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut, who plays the role of named Julia. While Rangoon is scheduled for release on February 24 this year, it also happens to be ace film maker Sajid Nadiadwalas first period movie in his 25 years in Bollywood as a producer.
