Sujoy Ghosh and Vidya Balan team up again for Kahaani 2

Three years ago, the film Kahaani starring Vidya Balan created waves and the actress also walked away with several accolades for her strong performance. And now, the makers have finally decided to rekindle the magic with a sequel. Though there have been several speculations about Kahaani 2 , it is only recently that producer Jayantilal Gada seems to be convinced about making a second installment of the thriller film. Jayantilal Gada revealed details about Kahaani 2 stating that the film will have Vidya Balan playing the leading lady once again but maintained that the creative calls are being taken by Sujoy Ghosh.Rumours of a sequel in the making have been doing the rounds ever since 2013, but then it was reported that Gada and Sujoy were not on good terms which resulted in the delay of the film. However, clarifying on the same, Jayantilal Gada added that it wasnt a huge tiff but just that they had been a little over budget when they created the script for Kahaani 2 and that he wasnt convinced about going ahead with the film due to the financial aspect of it. Now that everything has fallen in place, we hear that Kahaani 2 is definitely happening but the details of the rest of the cast, logistics and other details are yet to be finalized.
