Rishi Kapoor wont see Kapoor & Sons

While the cast and crew of Karan Johar s on-release Kapoor & Sons are happy to finally see their labour and love-and we hear from sources within the films team that Rishi Kapoor along with Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah have stolen the show-the actor who plays the patriarch of the family refuses to see it. Yes, Rishi Kapoor who holds the plot together wont watch Kapoor & Sons. Says a source close to the actor, Rishiji stubbornly refuses to watch Kapoor & Sons , although Karan Johar has personally asked him many times to see the film. But he refuses. He is superstitious about watching his own films, feels they dont work if he sees them. He wont make an exception this time just because everyone asks him to. Unusually no member of Rishi Kapoors family except Ranbir Kapoor has so far seen Kapoor & Sons. Says a source, This time even Neetuji has not attended any of the trials kept by Karan Johar. She will see the film after it releases.
