Dimple Kapadia files a petition in HC against Anita Advani

1 Dec 2012

The battle between late superstar Rajesh Khanna's wife Dimple Kapadia and his live-in partner Anita Advani seems to be intensifying day by day.

It may be recalled that a few days ago a magistrate's court in Bandra had asked Dimple to arrive at a settlement with Anita Advani over her demands for rightful share in Rajesh Khanna's property including his palatial bungalow 'Aashirwad'. Dimple has now filed a petition in the Bombay High Court asserting that only she and no other woman had right over Rajesh Khanna's property and other belongings as his legally wedded wife. Similar petition rejecting Anita Advani's claims have already been filed by Dimple's son-in-law Akshay Kumar and will also be soon filed by her daughters Twinkle and Rinke Khanna.

The petitions filed by Dimple and Akshay have been mentioned for urgent hearing by their advocate Girish Kilkarni and are likely to be heard on Monday. Meanwhile both Dimple and Akshay have sought a stay on the proceedings before the Bandra court till the High Court decides on their petitions.
