3 Jan 2013

Unfortunately, there have always been some serious accidents that have taken place on the sets of Bhansali's films. Now we hear that an accident recently took place on the sets of his film Ram Leela when a lightman lost his balance and fell from a height.

Apparently, Chandramani Vishwakarma who was working on the lighting lost his balance and fell on a parapet from a height of nearly 42 to 45 feet, injuring his back and legs badly. Post the accident, he was admitted to Goregaon's Life Care Hospital. The incident took place while the arrangements for the shoot were being supervised by Bhansali himself.

Though the light man is recovering from the fall, Bhansali on his part has agreed to bear the entire medical expense as well as pay him around Rs 20,000 every month till he is ready to work again.
