Those who know Vishal Bhardwaj and his films, will stand by the fact that his films have many USPs bundled into one. Also, one of the traits is that most of his films have had serious content. Testimonies to this stand in the form of his earlier works like Maqbool, Omkara, Kaminey and Saat Khoon Maaf . Now that he is back with Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, he has diverted from his usual serious cinema into a brighter funnier zone, which has also 'led' to a change in the certification from the Censors. Unlike his earlier films, this one has got a U/A certificate, which also means that the young people and family audiences will be able to watch this film by Vishal.
