The filmbroke manybox-officerecords and went on to becomethemost successful film of Sunny Deol s career. Now17 yearslatertheIndian entertainmentmedia suddenly woke uptotalksof a sequel to thefilm. This sounded far-fetched as the concept is a bit dated. Back thentalk aboutIndo-Pakamity wasencouraged on every platform including cinema where cross-borderlove storieslike Gadar and Veer-Zara were bigbox-officesuccesses. Who would attemptsomethingsuggesting a love relationshipacrossthe borderduring thesetimesof cross-border terrorism? Not SunnyDeol, for sure, as he is currently fighting election on aBJP ticket.
