Madhuri to do item number in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Yesteryears dancing queen Madhuri Dixit who will soon be making her comeback with the film Gulab Gang will in fact be seen in the upcoming film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. In what can be said as a story right out of the sky, Madhuri will be doing an item number in the film.

In her career that has spanned decades this will be the first time ever that Mads will be doing an item number, a far cry from most of her roles till date. Though it may be a question why the actress is opting to do an item number as a comeback even before appearing as the leading lady in her film. We can't help but recollect the recent news that Mads was planning on starting her very own dance academy. Now keeping in mind this fact we wonder whether the actress would be promoting her soon to be launched academy through the film or vice versa...

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that is directed by Ayan Mukherji and features Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone is slated for release this May.
