Kaajal ventures into Marathi, Telugu cinema

She may be relatively new to the world of Bollywood, but only two films down in this game, and this girl seems headed for glory. After all, with a debut like Rowdy Rathore followed by the Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer 3G , Kaajal Vashisht's is slowly but surely making her space in Bollywood Having made her foray into Bollywood, Kaajal is now looking to expand her acting horizons. She herself maintains the need for constant experimentation in order to grow and develop as an actor, having taken on a bold new avatar in 3G as opposed to her rather demure and subdued look in her debut, Rowdy Rathore. And as if to prove a point, she is now making a foray into regional cinema, which should come as little surprise given that she's well versed in seven languages.

Commenting on her radical choice of roles in films of various languages, Kaajal says, "An actor has to live out thousands of characters in one lifetime, and the only way one can do justice to all these lives is by staying true, both to oneself and the profession." Kaajal's upcoming projects include Gulabi , a film in Marathi directed by Guddu Dhanoa, where she is paired opposite Sachin Khedekar and Iddarammaliyatho, a Telugu film directed by Puri Jagan.
