When news of Manisha Koirala being diagnosed with ovarian cancer was out, her colleagues and fans were shocked. Recently, the actress underwent a successful surgery for the same and is currently well on her way to a full recover. Currently though, Manisha is enjoying her extended stay in New York, visiting new places and meeting old friends.

The heart touching part is that the actress who has constantly been in touch with her fans via twitter posted a pic of herself saying, "My new avatar". Well we can say that this actress has certainly shown some resolve and resilience in battling cancer.
