Rajesh Khanna's statue to be unveiled in Mumbai

The first ever superstar of Bollywood Rajesh Khanna passed away a year ago, and on his anniversary which is July 18, an honour will be presented to this legend in the form of a statue.

UTV Stars has announced that the statue of India's heartthrob will be unveiled at the Walk of Stars, at Bandra Bandstand, Mumbai. Also as per a recent statement from the channel, the statue will immortalize one of Khanna's popular trademark poses and it will be unveiled by one of his family members. Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka's statue will be placed amidst some other evergreen personas like Yash Chopra, Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand.

Ruling the industry for about five decades, Rajesh Khanna was the ultimate romantic hero of all times and has given some of the finest films of all times like Anand, Aradhana, Namak Haram and many more.
