Akshay to do Raavan Vadh in Lal Qilla

Akshay 'Khiladi' Kumar is now all set to play Ram. Wait, we are not talking about his role in his upcoming film. The news is that he has been invited for India's biggest Ram Leela Celebration in Delhi. He has received a special invite from the organizers of Luv-Kush Ram Leela Committee.

Readers may note that the Luv-Kush Ram Leela is one of the biggest Ram Leela event which takes place at Lal Qilla (Delhi) every year, and has witnessed presence of only political big-wigs as guests so far! But, for the first time ever, the committee has approached a Bollywood actor to do the honors of burning the Raavan down. The icing on the cake remains the fact that Akshay even hails from Chandni Chowk in real life! Talking about this, an elated Akshay said, "It is an honor to be a part of such a momentous occasion. I thank the organizers for inviting me. Delhi holds a special place in my heart since I grew up there. It will be indeed special to do the Raavan Vadh there."
