Gulab Gang to release on March 7

Based on a true story, Gulab Gang will see Madhuri and Juhi, the reigning divas of the 90s coming together for the first time on the silver screen. The film which was yet to finalize a release date has finally locked March 7 as its d-day.

Producer Anubhav Sinha believes that International Women's day will be the perfect day to release the film since the film is said to be a tribute to all the women in the country. The movie talks about women activists who started a protest against the social injustice in the Bundelkhand region of central India and the highlight of the movement was the pink sarees which they draped as a part of it.

Gulab Gang is directed by debutant Soumik Sen and will also star Mahie Gill, Shilpa Shukla and Tannishtha Chatterjee.
