John's next with Shoojit based on football

After two successful films, Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe, Shoojit Sircar will soon be teaming up with actor-producer John Abraham again for a film based on football. Apparently, the film focuses on Mohun Bagan's victory against the East Yorkshire Regiment on July 29, 1911.

Confirming the development, Shoojit stated that he decided on gifting the script to John as an advance wedding gift. Further adding that owing to their shared love for the sport, the script which tells an inspirational story was the perfect gift. Currently, the yet untitled film is in pre-production stage.
