Though Bullett Raja couldn't create a roar in the box-office, the Saif Ali Khan starrer recently received a whopping Rs. 1 crore from the Chief Minister of UP government Akhilesh Yadav to have extensively shot in the interiors of the state.

As per the regular policy, the producer of a film is allowed to claim a subsidiary if his/her film is extensively shot in a particular region as it helps in promoting the locales of the state. Producer Rahul Mitra, who shot more than 75 percent of his film in UP, received the money recently. He expressed his happiness over this gesture as he stated that the money helped him clear some debts since the movie couldn't do well at the box-office. Also, he is quite content with the fact that the shooting created job opportunities in these small towns.

Co-produced and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, Bullett Raja also starred Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Sheirgill, Vidyut Jamval, Gulshan Grover and Raj Babbar in prominent roles.
