Neeraj Pandey - Akshay Kumar's next land in trouble

9 May 2014

After their last success Special 26, Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar joined hands once again for yet another venture and the film is already gone on floors in Kathmandu. Earlier we reported about Akshay shooting in Nepal for the same, however, now the shooting seems to have suffered a setback due to alleged failure in payment of dues.

The makers of the film are accused of not paying a whopping Rs. 2.5 million to a Nepali film management company - Ice fall Adventure Pvt Ltd. Apparently, the owner of the company Ram Krishna Pokhrel was supposed to get a total of Rs. 9.5 million from the Indian filmmakers but received only Rs. 7 million. Hence he seized the shooting materials when the crew reached the International Airport to fly to Turkey without paying his dues. But the Indian company claims that they had to finish the shoot and hence were looking at flying early leaving one of the members behind to clear Ram Krishna's dues but the Nepali company had rejected their proposal. And, now the Indian company has also pleaded to the police about the loss they have because of missing their flight due to this chaos.

Abhi Narayan Kafle, Deputy Superintedent Nepal Police called for both the parties to the police station in order to present their side of the story. But for now, the two parties haven't reached a conclusion.
