John Abraham's Rocky Handsome goes on floor in Hyderabad

Readers may be aware that John Abraham joined hands with Force director Nishikant Kamat to remake a popular South Korean film The Man From Nowhere (2010) titled Rocky Handsome in Hindi.Produced by Sunir Kheterpal's Azure Entertainment, the film will see Shruti Hassan playing the role of John's wife in the film. Also, the film will mark the debut of Brazilian model Nathalia as an actor and she will be seen playing the role of a single mother in the film. Inspired by the character of Won Bin, John will be seen in a complete action packed avatar as he turns savior to rescue a seven year old from the clutches of a drug mafia. According to Kheterpal, Nathalia will reprise the character of a club dancer and they will also be shooting a dance number with her while Shruti and John too will have a romantic track in the film. The film will have four villains but their names are currently being kept under wraps.

Rocky Handsome went on floors this week and it will be shot extensively for about 40-50 days in Hyderabad. Post that, the film will have 10-15 days and later 20 days schedule in Goa and Mumbai respectively. The film is looking for a February- March 2015 release.
