Alia Bhatt to endorse Hero Motorcorp

Alia Bhatt who has been on a roll since the release and subsequent success of her debut film Student Of The Year , seems to be on a never ending roll. With her latest releases Highway and 2 States making it big at the box office, the young actress has fast been staking a claim to the crown of being the best actress. Now, we hear that Alia has been signed on by Hero Motorcorp to endorse their line of two wheelers.

Hero Motorcorp that ended its partnership with Hero Motorcycles a while back has retained its title as being one of the world's largest two wheeler manufacturers by volume. In a bit to realign its brand image from being a middle-aged individual preferred option to a youth centric offering, they have roped in several youth icons from Bollywood, the latest being the Bhatt scion who will be endorsing the 'Pleasure' range which is one of the best selling scooters from Hero targeted at women.

While the first campaign featuring Alia will be for the automatic scooter 'Pleasure', the actress shot for the commercial last week in Manali. Previously, the same line of scooters was being endorsed by Priyanka Chopra. With this new deal, Alia will be joining the likes of Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra who have also been brand ambassadors for Hero.

On the film front, Alia is busy with the promotions of her soon to release film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya that also features Varun Dhawan. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film is slated for release on July 11, 2014.
