Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone might visit your house looking for Fanny

With its unique casting coup, Finding Fanny has already increased the curiosity among the audience and the trailer has only added to it. The English language Bollywood film however has its unique promotional strategies.

In a bid to promote the film, the cast of Homi Adajania's Finding Fanny , which includes Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor, will be paying surprise visits at the homes of people in various cities to find Fanny Fernandez. Makers of Finding Fanny are gearing up to make this meet and greet more interesting and exciting. The makers want the promotions to be true to the film - and keep it quirky right from the word go! Finding Fanny is an off the wall, comical story about a bunch of oddballs who venture out to find Stefanie Fernandes (Fanny); in the process, they discover a strange sense of solace and love amongst each other, and end up seeing a point to their previously pointless lives.

This is the first time that Deepika Padukone will be romancing Arjun Kapoor on screen. While Deepika has worked with Homi previously in the hit film Cocktail, Arjun has never worked with director before. Moreover, the film will also see Deepika Padukone's alleged beau Ranveer Singh doing a cameo of her dead husband. The characters in this film have been given a complete Goan look. The film will be released in English and Hindi and the boldness quotient in these versions will be different keeping in mind the taste of audience who will be viewing the film.

Finding Fanny is presented by Fox Star Studios and is a Maddock production. The film comprises of a stellar star cast of Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia and it is slated to release on September 12.
