Remo D'Souza's film with Tiger Shroff and Ajay Devgn cancelled

9 Aug 2014

Being an ace choreographer, Remo D'Souza turned his attention towards direction with F.A.L.T.U and tasted success with ABCD: Any Body Can Dance . However, Remo has high aspirations and the dancer continues to helm films and this time around, his eyes are set on A-list celebrities. While his sequel to the dance drama ABCD stars Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, the filmmaker decided to make an action dance thriller with Tiger Shroff and Ajay Devgn. However, looks like the film won't see the light of the day.

There are many speculations about the reasons behind the film being scrapped. And one of them is that Tiger Shroff had inhibitions doing a two hero project. Rumor mills state that the actor had reservations to do a two hero project at this early stage of his career and despite a lot of persuasion from Remo and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Tiger maintained his stand. However, Tiger stated that the reason behind putting the film on the backburner is due to date clashes and that he has immense respect for Ajay Devgn.

On the other hand, Remo kept mum about the reason and mentioned that though they were thinking of making a film with Ajay Devgn and Tiger, things haven't been working out.

Tiger Shroff has a two film deal with his mentor and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. And the announcement was made immediately after the success of his debut Bollywood film Heropanti. Though this film could not go on floor, we believe that the actor-producer duo will return with yet another action packed film. In fact, we hear that Sajid has even taken Tiger to Thailand for a month long training, so that this martial arts expert can improve his action and learn something new for his next film.
