9 Aug 2014

Initially titled Its Entertainment , the recent Akshay Kumar starrer underwent a title change few days before release and was renamed as Entertainment . When the change in the title was announced, producer Ramesh Taurani had maintained that they always wanted the film to be titled as Entertainment but another production house owned the rights to the name.

However, it is recently that filmmaker turned actor Amole Gupte revealed that it was him who owned the title 'Entertainment' as he was shooting for the film for about two years. But the director cum producer was kind enough to give it away to the director duo Sajid - Farhad merely as a friendly gesture. He also mentioned that since this name was required for a big budget film he was glad to do it and also stated that he can name his film something else.

After this adorable gesture left the team of Entertainment overwhelmed, Amole Gupte is now getting ready for Singham Returns where he plays the role of a villain. The director turned actor will now don the avatar of a fake godman named Baba who started off his career by selling movie tickets in black. The actor will also have a defined look in the film where he will sporting a white garb, blue beaded charm necklace and salt pepper hair.

Amole Gupte likes to play the negative character with shades of grey when it comes to acting in movies but the filmmaker prefers to make films with social message. Amole Gupte has made some memorable child-centric films like Stanley Ka Dabba and Hawaa Hawaai and has even written for Taare Zameen Par . Amole though hasn't announced his next project as a director, he revealed that he will be making a film that will not be children-centric this time and also expressed his wish to rope in an A-lister to play the lead in the film.
