Chandan Roy Sanyal's short film ready for the festivals

Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal, notable for his dark layered performances in films like Kaminay, D Day and Prague has embarked on a new career as a filmmaker.

Chandan has just completed a short film named Hiroshima of which he is very proud. Amusing as it may seem, the short film is about a bottle of soya sauce!! Shedding light on the same, Chandan says, "My film Hiroshima is about a soya sauce bottle. It is set in the ruins of a restaurant named Hiroshima. The film opens in the aftermath of the tragedy strewn with limbs and bodies." The film is 4 minutes long.

Elaborates Chandan, " Hiroshima contains an eerie soundtrack is dedicated to the filmmaker Stanley Kubrick. I'm working on the film's post-production." Chandan is getting his film ready for the Cannes and Berlin film festivals.
