Priyanka Chopra is Bhansalis new Leela

While Kareena Kapoor's sudden exit from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much awaited next, Ram Leela starring Ranveer Singh has come as a shock, what is even more surprising is that she has been replaced by none other than her arch rival Priyanka Chopra. Whether it's a stroke of fate or a calculated move remains a mystery.

This is the first time Priyanka is teaming up with Bhansali and she is very excited. A well placed source close to Priyanka confirms, "Yes, Priyanka is doing the film but they still have to sign the deal officially. She is right now sorting her dates out for Bhansali's film."

It is yet to be seen how the latest development is going to affect Priyanka's new found friendship with Bebo. Ironically, the two pretty ladies have shared cold vibes since their only full-fledged feature film together, Aitraaz, and left no stone unturned to get the better of each other. Priyanka also dated Bebo's ex beau Shahid Kapoor. But the foes recently turned friends after they publicly hugged each other at Salman Khan's Being Human fashion show and then Piggy Chops dropped by on the sets of Heroine.

Speculations are rife about the public fallout between Bhansali and Bebo. The sources close to Bebo claim that the date and money became the bone of contention between the two. Apparently, Bhansali had already taken 100 days of Bebo but he wanted 40 days more and that too in bulk. And he wasn't ready to pay extra which didn't go down well with Kareena."

On the other hand, sources close to Bhansali claim that he didn't want his heroine to be married since it's a love story. But after the reports came about the much awaited wedding of Kareena with beau Saif Ali Khan in October, he decided to replace Bebo with Piggy Chops."

Well, it remains to be seen, whether Bebo's loss is Priyanka's gain or vice versa.
