Alia Bhatt in Rock On 2?

Alia Bhatt recently revealed that she is currently busy with Shandaar and after that, she will focus on the Ranbir Kapoor starrer, directed by Ayan Mukerji. However, from what we hear, Alia also has yet another project in hand, which is the sequel to the musical hit Rock On . Apparently, the actress has been roped in for Rock On 2 which will have Farhan Akhtar in the lead once again. Though the actress and the makers are mum about her presence in the film, Ehsaan Noorani of the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio is looking forward to work with the actress. The musician is impressed with Alia's voice and mentioned that she will be as good as Farhan Akhtar. He further revealed that the film is only in its initial stages and the pre-production will start next week.

Directed by debutant Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On 2 is said to have retained the old cast for the second installment too and will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani under their banner Excel Entertainment.
