Krian Media signs three film deal with Mickey Virus director Saurabh Varma

Krian Media has signed a three back to back film deal with the Mickey Virus director Saurabh Varma at an undisclosed amount. Commenting on the association Varma said, "It is a pleasure and a privilege to be associated with the Krian Media team who has in-depth understanding of the film business. We have not just planned the script and the production design, but also developed the complete worldwide distribution and marketing plans, on lines of Hollywood majors, defining regions, markets and cinemas, for all 3 titles."

Adding to the same Raj Malik, Senior Vice President Film Production & Distribution at Krian Media said, "Krian Media aims to change the dynamics for 'good content' by taking Indian movies to non-Indian audiences around the world, thereby largely increasing the footprint of an otherwise smaller India release.

Solid Patels is being dubbed in Mexican, Spanish and will be released in over 500 screens in Mexico alone. Depending on its success, the film will travel to other Spanish speaking countries like Argentina, Peru, Uraguay, Paraguay & Columbia. This will largely increase the potential revenues particularly for non A-lister films." The first film Solid Patels that is currently under production is a comedy revolving around 2 Gujarati boys Tom Patel and Jerry Patel and stars Shazahn Padamsee, Shiv Pandit, Ali Asgar, Vaishali Desai, Kitu Gidwani and Manoj Joshi in pivotal roles. The film is a clean family comedy targeting all age groups.The next film is an investigative thriller called 7 Hours to Go! This film will be a fast paced gritty thriller, revolving around a man whose life changes in seven hours. The film will go on floors in February 2015 while it is slated to release in September 2015. However, the casting of the film is yet to be finalized.

The third project is a new age slice of life drama called 2GB Ki Life and is about the struggles, lives and aspirations of the new generation. This film is in the new age Jerry Maguire meets Wolf of Wall Street space, but more relevant to contemporary times.
