Ali Fazal to direct a short film

After playing the male lead opposite Vidya Balan in Bobby Jasoos , we will get a glimpse of Ali Fazal even in the Hollywood blockbuster movie series Fast and Furious 7 . As he gets ready to promote yet another film, a horror titled Khamoshiyaan, Ali also will be donning the director's hat for a short film.

The actor has apparently co-written this short film with actor-comedian Hussain Dalal which he will also be directing. Though the film deals with human emotions and psyche, we hear that the duo is still contemplating on the title. Ali maintained that his short film doesn't deal with any complicated plot instead it's a simple and basic storyline which they are trying to put across in a short film format. While currently, Ali will have his time dedicated to the promotions of Khamoshiyaan, it is being said that he will start the shooting of this short film by February 2015.

Ali's next Khamoshiyaan is produced by Vishesh Films in association with Fox Star Studios and is directed by Karan Darra. The film also stars Gurmeet Choudhary (TV actor) along with Sapna Pabbi in the lead and it is slated to release on January 30, 2015.
