Hailing from the popular Bollywood 'Khandaan', Sohail Khan made his debut with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya alongside Sameera Reddy in 2002. While his eldest brother Salman Khan was already an established superstar by then, we had Arbaaz Khan trying to find his ground in the industry. Later Arbaaz and Sohail are enjoying their stint behind the camera and the duo have left the acting department to Salman. But now, we hear that Vikas Bahl of Queen fame has managed to bring Sohail Khan into television.

Sohail Khan will be starring in a satire series helmed by Vikas which will be about a filmy family. Excited about the venture, Sohail Khan mentioned that he decided to go ahead with it since Vikas is his good friend and that he loved the concept. He further added that the remaining details of the show will be confirmed by February 2015. We also hear, considering the complete 'filmy' background Sohail belongs to, his father Salim Khan along with Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan will also be doing a special appearance in the series. In fact, it is being said that they will be playing Sohail's family members even on screen and Salman will be seen as the quintessential brother who tries to help Sohail in his career as a struggling actor in the series.

Though Sohail Khan will be making his debut on small screen as an actor, he has previously been judging reality shows like Comedy Circus on television.
