Ranbir to croon Jumma Chumma

The Ranbir Kapoor - Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has been making headlines for the past few days. Now yet again, the Dharma Productions film has come into the spotlight as reportedly the super-hit track 'Jumma Chumma De De' from Amitabh Bachchan starrer Hum will be recreated in the film.

The original, which was a duet, composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, and sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sudesh Bhosle featured Big B along with Kimi Katkar. The modern day version of this song will feature Ranbir and the actor will also be singing a few lines himself in the song. Apparently, the makers wanted naughty, perky rhythms and lines that would suit Ranbir, and hence settled for the colourful track. Though sources in Dharma refused to comment on the track's inclusion, Adarsh Gupta, Business Head, Saregama, has stated that the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani team has acquired the rights of the chartbuster.
