Mani Ratnam suffers a heart attack

The 58-year-old movie maestro Mani Ratnam, who is best known for his hard hitting films like Roja, Bombay, Dil Se in Bollywood and many a smash hits down south, recently suffered a heart attack in Srinagar where he was on a holiday with his close friends.

As per the news reports, on Sunday, when he was playing golf at the 'Royal Spring Golf Course' in Srinagar, he suddenly complained of chest-pain. Wasting no time, he was immediately taken to 'Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences', where he stayed for the night. After that, he was taken to Delhi, where he is presently under medical treatment. The reports also stated that, from Delhi, he will soon be moved to a Chennai based multi-specialty hospital.

Bollywood Hungama prays for the speedy recovery of Mani Ratnam, whose latest film OK Kanmani (Tamil), has been garnering wide acclaim all over.
