Shraddha Kapoor to star opposite Tiger Shroff in Baaghi

Currently busy with the promotions of ABCD 2 , Shraddha Kapoor has signed yet another film. The actress has been signed opposite Tiger Shroff for Baaghi. While many actresses' were speculated to be a part of the film, from Kriti Sanon to Alia Bhatt, the makers have now finalized Shraddha Kapoor to play the part.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is also Tiger's mentor, mentioned that the film is about rebels and hence, they were considering a new pair for the film. Excited about kick starting the project, Sajid was also all praises for Shraddha's acting skills. The film will once again bring together the Sajid-Sabbir-Tiger trio who created the hit Heropanti . Interestingly, the film which is an intense love story set in an urban backdrop underwent many changes in its title. While Heer and Ranjha was the working title, the makers decided to finalize Baaghi , which co-incidentally is the title of Salman Khan and Nagma starrer that released in 1990. However, the makers maintained that the two films have no resemblance and Sabbir too confirmed that Tiger's Baaghi has an original script. Co-produced by UTV, Baaghi is said to have many high octane action sequences and is slated to release on April 15, 2016.
