Rakesh Roshan's untitled film starring Irrfan Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari shelved

Earlier in January 2015, Rakesh Roshan had announced an untitled film, to be directed by Delhi Belly director Abhinay Deo. Also, starring in this comedy thriller was Irrfan Khan paired opposite Aditi Rao Hydari who was supposed to play the role of his wife.

However, now we hear that the film has been permanently shelved though the reasons of the same are yet to be known. Speculations are rife that the film, which was slated to go on floors a couple of months ago, was facing budget issues but there hasn't been any confirmation on the same. While we tried to contact the film's producer Rakesh Roshan, he texted back saying "The project has been dropped" but did not divulge any details on the same.

Apart from the duo, the makers had also signed Kunal Kapoor, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Vijay Raaz to play prominent roles in the film.
