Shruti Haasan paired opposite Ajay Devgn in Baadshaho

Earlier this year, we had reported that Ajay Devgn has decided to put Shivaay on the back burner temporarily and will concentrate on two films, namely, Nishikant Kamat's Drishyam and Milan Luthria's Baadshaho . While on one hand, the actor is busy with the recee for his home production Shivaay , his next Drishyam is all set for release. And now, we hear that there is some progress happening on Milan Luthria's film too and actress Shruti Haasan has been roped in for Baadshaho . Shruti Haasan, who was last seen in Gabbar Is Back , has been paired opposite Ajay Devgn for the first time. As of now, the actress is busy with the promotions of Welcome Back and is also wrapping up Nishikant Kamat's Rocky Handsome . As for Baadshaho, the film is said to have Ajay playing the titular role but the details of the film are still being kept under wraps.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar along with Milan Luthria, Baadshaho is slated to release on the occasion of Independence Day in 2016.
