Manjhi: The Mountain Man to be tax free in Bihar

After winning accolades for his memorable performance in the season's smash hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan , Nawazuddin Siddiqui is now all set to hit the silver screens with his hard hitting upcoming film Manjhi: The Mountain Man, which is being directed by Ketan Mehta.

While the film is around 22 days from its release, the film's makers have already got the good news stating that the Bihar government has made a formal announcement that Manjhi: The Mountain Man will be made tax free all over the state. Reports state that Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Maya Movies and NFDC had applied for tax exemption from the Bihar state government. After watching the film, the advisory committee of Bihar declared it tax free.

Speaking about the same, director Ketan Mehta said that he wished that every school child and youth in the country got an opportunity to watch the film. He hoped that, besides Bihar, other states too might give tax exemption to the film.
