Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in Aanand L. Rai's next production

While Tanu Weds Manu Returns director Aanand L. Rai is busy with his upcoming production Happy Bhaag Jayegi , the filmmaker has already started working on his next. Directed by Sameer Sharma of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana fame, the untitled project will star the Dum Laga Ke Haisha couple Ayushmann Khuranna and Bhumi Pednekar.

There have been a lot of speculations about this Aanand L. Rai's next production. Many names like Imran Khan and others were doing the rounds for the film. However, it is being said that this duo was roped in due to their great chemistry and performance in their previous film. From what we hear, Bhumi's new slim avatar proved to be an important aspect for the role.

The spokesperson of Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar confirmed the news. The film is said to be set in Punjab but other details regarding the film are being kept under wraps.
