Rentrak tracks Vidhu Vinod Chopra's production Wazir

Earlier we had reported that global leader in box office tracking, Rentrak, would soon be making their foray into the Indian Film industry. With this in mind the tracking major had even tied up with the 2014 release PK that featured Aamir Khan. Well earlier today the leader in pre-cisely measuring movies and TV everywhere, announced it has released new box office numbers for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's latest film, Wazir starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akh-tar that was directed by Bejoy Nambiar.

"Our production house has demonstrated great vision in supporting Rentrak to bring box office transparency to India. We know that Rentrak numbers are validated and credible." Globally, Rentrak processes Gross Box Office Collections (GBOC) in 60+ countries and makes reports available via their International Box Office Essentials (IBOE) application. In the Indian market, for the first time, Rentrak also validates Net Box Office Collections (NBOC). Rentrak's box office measurement across India has been adapted by a number of distributors and cinemas, further transforming the way movie business is done in the country.
