John Abraham walks out of Aankhen 2

Time and again there have been speculations about the sequel to the suspense drama Aankhen which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal. Almost a year ago, it was announced that the sequel though will retain Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Anil Kapoor's names were added to the star cast. However, now we hear that John has quit the film.

In fact, there have been several rumours owing to John Abraham's exit from the film. From what we hear, a recent injury of the actor on the sets of Force 2 led to several delays in the shoot schedules of his upcoming films. Owing to the mess of dates that followed, John Abraham decided to walk out of Aankhen 2. On the other hand, it is also being said that the producer of the film Gaurang Doshi wasn't keen on paying John a lump-sum that he demanded as remuneration for the film.

While we are unaware if the date clash or finance is the issue, it seems that now the hunt is on for one of the leading men for the second instalment of Aankhen, to be directed by Anees Bazmee.
