Ranbir Kapoor purchases an apartment worth Rs. 35 crores at Pali Hill

While everyone is aware of sky rocketing rates when it comes to Mumbai's real estate, Ranbir Kapoor's new purchase in the city has grabbed the attention of the media. The Barfi actor recently bought an apartment for Rs. 35 crores in the plush locality of Pali Hill in suburban Mumbai.

Ranbir Kapoor who was said to be in a live-in relationship with co-actor Katrina Kaif in another apartment, started house hunting after the alleged break-up between the two. The new Bandra pad of the actor is a 2,640 sq.ft apartment which was bought at the rate of Rs. 1.42 lakhs per sq.ft. Located at the seventh floor of the Vastu Pali Hill, this deal is said to one of the biggest deals recorded in real estate. From what we hear, one of the major reasons for the same is that the Pali Hill area of Mumbai is occupied by some of the biggest names in Bollywood and further, the said apartment is also in close proximity to Ranbir's ancestral bungalow 'Krishna Raj'.

Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Morocco shooting with Katrina Kaif for Jagga Jasoos and he is said to be shifting to his new residence once he wraps up the schedule of the same.
