Kangna Ranaut's Simran will be shot in varied cities across US

Earlier we had reported that the Hansal Mehta directorial titled Simran will star Kangna Ranaut. Further, readers may also be aware of the fact, that the film will be inspired by a series of real life incidents including the life of Sandeep Kaur, a nurse who turned into a bank robber.

Kangna Ranaut recently revealed that she is indeed playing the role of a bank robber but however also further added that her character Simran is a Gujarati girl who wishes to fulfil her mother's dream but ends up losing everything in the process. On the other hand, revealing details about the shoot schedule of the film, filmmaker Hansal Mehta stated that it will be 70 day start to finish schedule and will be shot extensively in U.S. While a few portions may be shot in India, the rest of them will be shot in different cities like Atlanta, San Francisco, San Jose, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Talking about the preparations, Hansal also mentioned that Kangna Ranaut who will have to learn the dialect of Gujarati to play the role, should refer to renowned few plays and films including Ketan Mehta's Bhavni Bhavai which according to the director is a must watch.
