Akshay Kumar to star in Tigmanshu Dhulia - Nikhil Advani's next?

Striking a balance between meaningful cinema and light-hearted films, Akshay Kumar is known to experiment with varied genres. Amidst films like Housefull 3 and Rustom, Akshay is said to have been roped in for yet another film.

Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, this yet to be titled film is said to be produced by Nikhil Advani's Emmay Entertainment. While Emmay's production Airlift had Akshay Kumar playing the protagonist, the action star has previously worked with Tigmanshu in films like Family: Ties of Blood and The Shaukeens, which were written by Dhulia. From what we hear, Tigmanshu and Akshay recently discussed several films and there is one concept that the actor really wanted to take forward.

It has been learnt that the casting process and the details of the film going on floors are yet to be finalized.
