Asha Bhosle speaks out about Tanmay Bhat's controversial video

The stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat has been in the news since the last couple of days because of his controversial Snapchat story about Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar. The said video has not just angered many Bollywood celebs, but also a handful of political parties as well.

Lata Mangeshkar's sister Asha Bhosle recently spoke to a leading entertainment daily about the controversial video. Asha Bhosle said that she had neither seen the video nor did she intended to. She got to know about the video through her grandson Chintu. Asha Bhosle expressed her displeasure over the video by saying that the video had made fun of Lata Mangeshkar, the very woman who had worked for 70-80 years of her life, spreading joy and happiness through her music.

Asha Bhosle added that she wanted to know how many people would stand by their side now and what respect and honour do the 'Bharat Ratnas' get in our country.
