Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in Anees Bazmee's Mubaraka

Currently gearing up for Half Girlfriend , Arjun Kapoor has now signed yet another film, a light-hearted one titled Mubaraka. For the first time, this actor will share screen space with his real life chacha Anil Kapoor.

These two Kapoors will be putting on one rib tickling show for this Anees Bazmee directorial, written by Milap Zaveri. Initially, it was Abhishek Bachchan who was supposed to do the film. However, things didn't work out with the Junior Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor replaced him in the film. Also, the film was originally supposed to be directed by Milap Zaveri, but after the debacle of his last film Mastizaade, Anees Bazmee was brought in to direct the film.

As far as the other details of the rest of the cast including the leading ladies are concerned, they are yet to be finalized. The film is currently in the scripting stage and the final draft will be ready by July. Mubaraka will be produced by Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde.
