Farhan-Ritesh to produce Fukrey

Dil Chahta Hai is one film that will always be remembered for many reasons than one. Firstly, it marked the debut of Farhan Akhtar as a director and Ritesh Sidhwani as a producer. Besides this, it also gave Bollywood, its headstart of boy-bonding films like Rock On, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara etc, to name a few.

The news is that the impeccable duo of Ritesh and Farhan are now planning to make Fukrey. For the uninitiated, Fukrey is a slang that's common in Delhi, which means good for nothing. The film will be directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who made his directorial debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra productions' Teen They Bhai. While the film is supposed to be set in North India, the story will revolve around young guys in high school and college. Buzz is that, as far as the starcast is concerned, the makers are planning to launch newcomers in the film.
