Complaint against Prakash Jha by co-producer of Jai Gangaajal

Prakash Jha who directed and co-produced the Priyanka Chopra starrer Jai Gangaajal has now landed himself in a legal soup after a complaint has been filed against him by his co-producer Play Entertainment, who approached the police alleging Jha of cheating and fraud.

Milind Dabke, CEO of Play Entertainment, stated that they haven't received the master copy of the film ( Jai Gangaajal ) from Prakash Jha who was also the director of the film because of which their company is suffering losses as the copy is a must for further commercial dealings like satellite rights etc. Further, talking about yet another deal with Prakash Jha productions for the Arshad Warsi starrer Fraud Saiyyan , Play Entertainment also accused the filmmaker of suppressing information about handing over the music rights to some other company when all the copyrights of the film were handed over to their company. Responding to these allegations was the CEO of Prakash Jha Productions, Sunil Agrawal who claimed that these accusations were baseless and it is a mere publicity gimmick of the production house. He further also added that if these continue they will have to file a case of harassment against them.
