Deepika Padukone bags 10th position in World's highest-paid actresses Forbes list

Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Bajirao Mastani, is taking the world by storm. The actress has been named among the world's highest-paid actress in the new list of Forbes.

With several endorsement deals, box- office successes and international projects, Deepika Padukone has become the only newcomer and Indian actress to bag the 10th position in the list with her income of $10 million. The top position is once again bagged by the highest paid actress in Hollywood, Jennifer Lawrence. While Deepika earns far less than other Hollywood actresses in the list, it is the endorsement deals like Vistara and Tanishq Jewellery etc. that have been a big advantage for her to get her in the prestigious list. Apart from this, Deepika Padukone will be making her Hollywood debut next year with Vin Diesel's XXX: Return of Xander Cage. Directed by D. J. Caruso, the film is an action adventure one which also stars Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose and Samuel L. Jackson and is scheduled to release on January 20, 2017.
