REVEALED: Alia Bhatt features in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Being one of the luckiest debutants in Bollywood, as she got an opportunity to be directed by Karan Johar in her debut film, Alia Bhatt this time around turned the latters lucky charm for his next Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.We hear the actress will be seen in a special appearance in the Break Up song, a glimpse of which was unveiled recently. Readers may be aware that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has of late been in news not only for the Pakistani artists ban but also because it is facing a clash with the Ajay Devgn starrer Shivaay. Shivaay , being one of the most ambitious projects of Ajay who has also directed and produced the film, has received complete support from his family including his wife Kajol.Considering the sensitivity of the situation between Karan and Ajay, it is being said that the director-producer couldnt get his other lucky charm Kajol on board for his directorial, unlike his other films. However, Alia Bhatt , who has been his Student of the year was more than happy to do this role for her mentor. Though the details are kept under wraps, we hear that the film will have Alia playing the role of a DJ. Confirming the same, Karan added that there are several cameos in the film but it is not just any special appearance and all of them have a part to play in the film. Considering that the song Break Up is based in the backdrop of a pub/disc, a role of DJ was necessary and Karan added if it is needed why not take somebody they all love. Interestingly, the song will have Alia sharing screenspace with co-star Ranbir Kapoor even before the duos first film together Dragon goes on floor. Besides Alia Lisa Haydon too is doing a guest appearance in the same song. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars Anushka Sharma Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in leading roles along with Fawad Khan in a supporting role. The film is slated to release on October 28.
