Ronnie Screwvalas maiden production is a rom-com

The former head honcho of UTV-Disney, Ronnie Screwvala who decided to go solo a couple of years ago is all set to enter Bollywood production once again. While he has been dabbling with other stuff in the entertainment industry for the past few months, now he has decided to back a Bollywood film which has new writers and directors. All those who enjoy a good dose of web-series will be aware of the name Sumeet Vyas who gained fame with series like Permanent Roommates and Triplings. Very few may also be aware that he has written the popular YRF web-series Bang Baaja Baarat along with friend Anand Tiwari who was seen in films like Go Goa Gone.The actors, however, will take the roles behind the camera as Sumeet will write the script and Anand will be directing the film, which will be Ronnie Screwvala s maiden production after venturing out solo. The film in question is a rom-com amidst an urban setting as it deals with intricacies of relationships and hilarious take on changing dynamics between these relations in society. Sumeet and Anand who have been discussing this script for a while are excited about moving ahead with the project. Talking about his interaction with Ronnie, Sumeet was all praises for the producer and he mentioned that he was sure that he is someone who would back good stories. Further adding that Ronnie is not someone who would pressurize them as a producer, he stated that he is only looking at them to deliver a good story for his maiden film. While Sumeet revealed that they are yet to zero in on the title, we hear that the leading man has already been signed and it is said to be Masaan fame Vicky Kaushal.
