Ali Zafar gives thumbs up to Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Mishra's rendition of his song 'Jhoom'

Talking about why he chose 'Jhoom' to be a part of his film, Vidyut shared, "Jhoom has been a constant on my romantic playlist. The melody feels just right, resonating with pure emotion. The song encapsulates all the right emotions we need, making it the perfect soundtrack for Crakk."The new track, which is now streaming online, has garnered a lot of love. Ali has also given his thumbs up to the song."Good stuff. I like it. #DilJhoom #Jhoom," he wrote on X.Take a look at the song.Helmed by Aditya Datt, the makers recently unveiled the teaser for the film, which received good responses from the audiences.The film also stars Arjun Rampal and Amy Jackson in the lead roles.'Crakk' is a survival thriller. Aditya Datt, who helmed the film, is also known for films like Aashiq Banaya Apne (2005) and Table No. 21 (2013).As per a statement, 'Crakk' is the journey of a man from the slums of Mumbai "to the world of extreme underground sports".'Crakk' also marks the reunion of the dynamic duo Vidyut and director Aditya Datt after Commando 3.It is presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Action Hero Films & PZ Pictures, produced by Vidyut Jammwal, Parag Sanghvi, and Action Hero Films & Team, co-produced by Adi Sharmaa and Aditya Chowksey.'Crakk' is all set to hit theatres on February 23, 2024.

'Crakk': First track 'Dil Jhoom' from Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi starrer to be out tomorrow

Crakk' are all set to unveil the first song of the film.Titled 'Dil Jhooom', the song will be out tomorrow, ie., January 15.Taking to Instagram, production house T-series shared a teaser of the song which they captioned, "Crakk in love! Dil Jhoom, Song out tomorrow #CRAKK - Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa releasing on 23rd February 2024."Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Mishra, the song is a recreated version of Pakistani singer Ali Zafar's track 'Jhoom'.The song features Vidyut and Nora.Helmed by Aditya Datt, the makers recently unveiled the teaser for the film, which received good responses from the audiences.Apart from Vidyut and Nora, the film also stars Arjun Rampal and Amy Jackson in the lead roles.'Crakk' is a survival thriller. 'Sam Bahadur': Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra starrer romantic track 'Itni Si Baat' out

Sam Bahadur' unveiled a romantic track titled 'Itni Si Baat' featuring Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra on Tuesday.Taking to Instagram, Vicky treated fans to the new song video.Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam, heartwarming lyrics penned by Gulzar.Sharing the song video, Vicky wrote, "Thoda paagl, thoda bebaak, lekin sccaa hai Sam aur Silloo ka pyaar! Kuch aise huyi inki kahaani ki shuruat! #ItniSiBaat song out now!"'Sam Bahadur' got a decent start at the box office on Day 1.Apart from Tendulkar, cricketers Zaheer Khan and Ajit Agarkar also attended the screening.The film minted Rs 6.25 crores on its opening day in India.Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a post which he captioned, "#SamBahadur gathered momentum towards evening shows on Day 1... His career in the army spanned over four decades and five wars. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. Manekshaw, fondly called 'Sam Bahadur,' led the Indian Army to victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, which resulted in the creation of Bangladesh.In his military career, Manekshaw also played a crucial role in the Indo-Pak War of 1947 and the liberation of Hyderabad in 1948.On playing the lead role in the film, Vicky said, "Playing the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is an immense responsibility and a huge honour. We've poured our hearts into bringing to life one of India's great heroes on screen. 54th IFFI: Michael Douglas to receive Satyajit Ray Excellence; Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor to perform

About Dry Grasses directed by French Director Nuri Bilge Ceylan will be the Mid fest film and The Featherweight directed by Robert Kolodny is the closing film for 54th IFFI.Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani will serve as the head of the five-member jury for the best web series (OTT) award at the festival. Divya Dutta, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and filmmakers Krishna DK and Utpal Borpujari are part of the jury panel for the inaugural category.A total of 32 entries across 10 languages from 15 OTT platforms have been selected for the inaugural best web series award. Speaking about the newly introduced OTT awards, Anurag Thakur said that since the COVID-19 pandemic, the OTT industry has seen a boom in India and original content created in India is employing thousands of people. In response to the dynamic landscape of this sector, growth of which stands at 28 percent annually, the Ministry has introduced this award celebrating the outstanding content creators on OTT platforms.Renowned Hollywood actor and producer Michael Douglas will be honoured with the prestigious Satyajit Ray Excellence in Film Lifetime Award. He will also address the IFFI Master Class on November 28.The Indian Panorama is chosen by a jury of notable film personalities from across India, with a total of 12 jury members for feature films and six jury members for non-feature films, led by the respective chairpersons.The Feature Film Jury, which consists of 12 members, will be chaired by famous director, actor, and producer TS Nagabharana.The Feature Film Jury chose Anand Ekarshi's film Aattam (Malayalam) as the opening feature film of the Indian Panorama Section. Noted documentary film director Arvind Sinha presides over the six-member Non-Feature Film Jury.Indian Panorama section will showcase 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films from India. In the non-feature section is 'Andro Dreams' from Manipur.From a pool of 239 modern Indian non-feature films, a package of 20 has been chosen for screening in the Indian Panorama segment. The collection of short films shows young and veteran filmmakers' ability to capture, examine, entertain, and reflect modern Indian values.54th IFFI will conclude on November 28.

Shreya Ghoshalon Wednesday attended a special screening of renowned director Shyam Benegal's film 'Mujib - The Making of a Nation'.Talking about the film, Shreya told ANI, "I feel happy to be a part of this project. It's a real-life story and what a great tribute to such a great human being. This film is a gift from our side in a way for the friendship that we have with Bangladesh. I think it's a story that needed to be shared with the whole nation. Truly honoured to be a part of it."Shreya has lent her voice for a song in the film.'Mujib - The Making of a Nation' is an India-Bangladesh co-production on the life of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation of Bangladesh, under an audiovisual co-production agreement between the Republic of India and the People's Republic of Bangladesh.Directed by the legendary filmmaker Shyam Benegal, the film was extensively shot in India and Bangladesh, following all health guidelines amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was completed in December 2021.Mujibur was born in a prestigious Muslim family. Growing up in a religious and harmonious atmosphere, he was very kind to the poor and was empathetic towards them.Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, Mujibur struggled against the disparity and deprivation between West Pakistan and East Pakistan and against the Pakistani Military rule. Imprisoned for about 11 years between 1947 to 1971, he strived and achieved an independent and sovereign state 'Bangladesh' that's why Mujib is known as the father of the nation of Bangladesh and 'BANGABANDHU'.Bangladeshi actor Arifin Shuvoo has played the role of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the film.Meanwhile, Shreya recently received her fifth National Film Award for the song 'Mayava Chayava' from the tamil film 'Iravin Nizhal'.

69th National Film Awards: Shreya Ghoshal receives Best Female Playback Singer award for song 'Mayava Chayava'

Shreya Ghoshal on Tuesday received the Best Female Playback Singer award at the 69th National Film Awards for the song 'Mayava Chayava' from the tamil film 'Iravin Nizhal'.Shreya received the award from President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony that took place at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.This marks Shreya's fifth National Film Award.She won her first National Award in 2003 for her song 'Bairy Piya' in 'Devdas'. Later she bagged the National Awards for 'Dheere Jalna' (Paheli) and 'Yeh Ishq Haaye' (Jab We Met).In 2010, she won a National Award for not one but two songs -- 'Jiv Dangla' from the Marathi film 'Jogva' and 'Pherari Mon' from the Bangla movie 'Antaheen'.Established in 1954, the National Film Awards is one of the most prestigious and much-looked-forward-to events in the country. The Hon'ble President of India presents the awards culminating in the showcasing of award-winning films for the public.
