Sanjay DuttMadhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff-starrer iconic movie Khalnayak is re-releasing in theatres on September 5 to celebrate 30 years of the film.Director Subhash Ghai, Balaram Prasad a.k.a Sanjay Dutt, Ram Kumar Sinha a.k.a Jackie Shroff reunited for the films screening. Choli Ke Pooche Kya Hai singers la Arun and Alka Yagnik also graced the event.Sanjay Dutt looked handsome in a blue that he teamed up with a pyjama. And amped up his look with a shawl and a pair of black sunglasses.Jackie Shroff opted for a classic black shirt and denim.Khalnayak team cut the cake together and celebrated the 30 years of the film.Dont miss the big smile on their faces.During media interaction, Subhash expressed his feelings and said, Today is a very very happy moment for us. The action crime drama, written, directed and produced by Subhash Ghai under Mukta Arts Limited, was released on August 6, 1993.It starred Sanjay Dutt (as the villain), Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff as police officer Ram, and Madhuri as undercover cop Ganga in the film.The movie is known for its music and Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai, sung by Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun, is still liked by the audience. It received positive response from the critics and movie buffs. At the 39th Filmfare Awards, 'Khalnayak' received 11 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director (Ghai), Best Actor (Dutt), Best Actress (Dixit), and Best Supporting Actor (Shroff), and won two awards - Best Female Playback Singer (Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun) and Best Choreography (Saroj Khan), both for the song 'Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai'.

An incident during the recording of a duet with Udit Narayan for Sanjay Leela Bhansalis HumDil De Chuke Sanam changed Alkas fortunes.According to eyewitnesses she refused to record the song until she was paid in advance. An eyewitness reports, Sanjay Bhansalis production team was short on cash that day. They requested she defer the payment for a few days. To everyones shock Alka refused point-blank. Paise nahin toh gana nahin, were her words. Of course the cash was arranged somehow. And she sang the duet Chand Chupa Baadal Mein with Udit Narayan, and went away with her money. But that was the end of Alka in Bhansalis cinema.Alka Yagnik was supposed to sing all the songs of Hum.Dil Chuke Sanam. She ended up singing only one. The rest were done by Kavita Karishnamurthy.For his next opus Devdas, Sanjay Bhansali was determined to find a voice in the Lata Mangeshkar mould to replace Yagnik. The film tells the story of Bharat Lal who has been declared dead in the official government papers and is literally running from pillar to post to reclaiming his identity.After dropping a high energy dance number song, 'Laalam Laal Gulanar' a few days ago, the film's makers have released a new heartwarming number 'Bailgadi'. This song is a romantic number featuring Pankaj Tripathi and M Monal Gajjar, who plays his wife in the film. The song showcases adorable chemistry between Bharat Lal 'Mritank' and his wife.The song marks the reunion of two legendary singers, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik who have sung many romantic songs in the yesteryears. This song has been composed by Pravesh Mallick and the lyrics have been by Rashmi Virag, and makes for a soothing watch. The visuals of the song have been designed by Satish Kaushik.Kaagaz is presented by Salman Khan Films with Satish Kaushik Entertainment Production and produced by Salma Khan, Nishant Kaushik and Vikas Malu. The film will premiere on 7th January 2021 on Zee5 Premium and will release in a few selected theatres in Uttar Pradesh.

Singers Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik will join Himesh Reshammiya, Udit Narayan, Armaan Malik, and Amaal Malik among others for the silver jubilee celebration of singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.Shaan will be hosting the three-hour special Ek Desh Ek Rang across all Zee Channels to celebrate 25 years of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Among other artists who will be part of this special are Javed Ali and Richa Sharma.Interestingly, Armaan Malik was a contestant on the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa when he was quite young and amongst the top 8 contenders. He and his brother Amaal will indulge in some fun banter with Shaan and play games like charades and rapid-fire.All the performances will be from home as the artists plan to sing some of the hits as they will make the audience nostalgic with their medley of songs!

Kriti Sanon was supposed to shoot a dance number for her next film Mimi but the lockdown was imposed during that time.For the film, the actress gained 15 kgs for the role of a surrogate mother. She then underwent a transformation to shed that weight. While the film was completed, she had to shoot a lavni dance number for the film. Amid lockdown, while she is baking cakes and pudding, she is also ensuring to keep herself in shape for the dance number.Speaking of the film, it's a remake of Marathi movie Mala Aai Vhyaachy. Kriti is essaying the role of an aspiring actress and there's a reason her character chooses to become a surrogate. The song was composed by Anu Malik and sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. Now the 25-year-old song which is remembered even today will be recreated again by Priyadarshan on Shilpa Shetty and the remix version has again been composed by Anu Malik again. The song will appear in Priyadarshans Hungama 2.Says a trade source, Its a glamorous, fun, peppy dance track and the remix version has been sung by Anus daughter Anmol. While its a glamourous number, the situation that Shilpa will be seen in, is amazingly humorous. Her introduction in Hungama 2 will take place through Churake Dil Mera Goriya Chali with some really cool innovative dance steps. Earlier this week, the song was recorded at YRF Studios. It was a moment of nostalgia for Anu as he had composed the music so many years before. So when Shilpa, clad in an orange leopard-print skirt and top, had danced so amazingly to Churake Dil Mera from Main Khiladi Tu Anadi , who better than she herself to match her steps to her remix? It will be shot from January next year after Priyadarshan comes to Mumbai. In Hungama 2 , Shilpa and Priyadarshan are working together for the first time. After signing Nikamma, her comeback film post marriage after 13 years, signed the directors next Bollywood, which also marks Priyadarshans return to Bollywood after Rangrezz (2013) and is a sequel of Hungama (2003). The director has completed shooting for his multi-lingual, period action drama, Marakkar : Arabikadalinte Simham.While Hungama 2 will not feature the earlier lead pair, Akshaye Khanna and Rimi Sen, it will repeat Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor have South actress Pranitha Subhash and Meezan Jaaferi (Javed Jaaferis son) as the romantic pair. Shilpa is paired opposite Paresh Rawal in the movie. While Hungama 2 is not a direct sequel to Hungama and has a different storyline, it is again a hilarious misunderstanding of sorts between the various characters and couples, including the younger Pranitha-Meezan and Shilpa Shetty-Paresh Rawal. Shilpa plays an independent career woman and wife and one will get to see her play a delightfully madcap character in a very pivotal role.The movie goes on floor from January 6, 2020 in Mumbai.
