Pune's iconic Victory Theater witnessed the joy of fans who rushed to the cinema hall to watch the action thriller.Since early morning, fans flocked to the theatre in large numbers to watch the first-day first show of the movie.They were seen celebrating outside the cinema hall as they expressed their joy by bursting firecrackers and colourful smoke bombs.One of the fans told ANI, "I am very excited. You can see there is so much crowd here despite the negativity around the film. Still, people are here, which means that positivity is still alive and so is Pathaan."Another fan who made a poster of the film said, "I have been Shah Rukh khan's fan for the past 30 years. I have been his fan since 1994. Different fans are of different types and have different passions because I am a numismatic and I like to collect currency, so I thought of giving him a tribute in my way."'Pathaan' is Shah Rukh Khan's first release in over 4 years.The film is a part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country - Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham -- in lead roles. It also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.SRK is paired opposite Deepika in the film. He and Deepika are one of the biggest on-screen pairings in the history of Indian cinema and have worked in films like 'Om Shanti Om', 'Chennai Express' and 'Happy New Year'.In this film, Salman Khan is featured in a cameo, reprising his role of R&AW (Research & Analysis Wing) agent Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger, while Katrina Kaif will also be seen making a cameo as Zoya.

Sidney Poitier, Hollywoods trailblazer, has passed away at the age of 94. He was the first black actor who broke through racial barriers and won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in the 1963s Lilies of the Field, creating a history."There are no words to convey the deep sense of loss and sadness we are feeling right now. American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo got into a fight outside of a nightclub at the ARIA Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Police were called to the hotel in the early hours of January 4 after Derulo allegedly got into a fist fight with two people.The physical altercation broke out in the early morning when Derulo "committed a battery against two individuals," a spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department tells E! News. Police were called to the scene around 2:22 a.m. local time, according to the spokesperson, though responding officers did not take a report "due to the victims not wanting to prosecute."According to the reports, Derulo was heading down an escalator outside of the JEWEL Nightclub when a man who was standing in line yelled something to the 32-year-old singer. Derulo lunged passed a roped queue into the crowd after a man off-camera called out: "Hey, Usher! F--k you, bitch!" The footage then showed Derulo in a scuffle as security guards tried to pull him away. Derulo appeared to punch a man at one point in a clip.Derulo was led away in handcuffs and was escorted away with his hands behind his back. However, the 'Whatchu Say' artist was not arrested or cited in the incident because the victims did not want to press charges.The fight comes seven months after Jason Derulo became a dad and welcomed a son named Jason King with influencer Jena Frumes. Though the couple, who met at the gym prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, announced their breakup in September, they have continued to remain close as they co-parent their child together.

Just a few days away from its release, the hype around the multi-verse movie is incredible. In India, the tickets are selling out at the speed of light. Even early morning tickets from 5 am onwards on December 16 have practically sold out in many places in the country. Now, Sony Pictures India has confirmed that since the advance bookings began, Spider-Man: No Way Home has sold 1 lakh tickets in India in 14 hours. As far as the shows are concerned, it is sold out for the entire weekend already.Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Entertainment India is all set to organise a huge fan event on December 15 in Mumbai. To celebrate the release of the multiverse movie, the studio is out to set a new World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Spider-Man.The trailer teased the return of some familiar faces including Zendaya as M.J., Jacob Batalon as Ned, and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May but it also gives the best look of a few familiar foes. Alfred Molina and Willem Dafoe are back, reprising their roles as Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin respectively from the Tobey Maguire movies, as is Jamie Foxx's Electro who first popped up in the Andrew Garfield era. The actress will play the role of Meera, which was earlier played by Bhumika Gurung. Speaking on the replacement, producer Rajan Shahi said it was decided mutually a few weeks ago.Meera's character was introduced in the show in April this year. The Thakurs had moved to Sajjan Singh's friend's bungalow for a few days just so that Krishna can have a change of environment. Meera was the caretaker of the house, who is secretly in love with Krishna. When Pratigya finds out that she has blood cancer, she tries to bring Krishna and Meera closer, and at one point Krishna even marries Meera. But this was before he got to know that Pratigya's blood cancer was all planned by his mother.Next, Krishna and Pratigya were in an accident, and the Thakurs take Krishna to the hospital and leave Pratigya to die. The show then takes a leap and while Krishna has lost his memory, Pratigya wakes up in an ashram. When she comes home, she finds Krishna referring to Meera as his wife.Currently, in the show, Pratigya is trying to bring back Krishna's memory, but the Thakurs are creating a problem for her. It will be interesting to see how Meera reacts to the situations at home, and how she will get rid of Pratigya.Produced under Rajan Shahi's banner Director's Kut Productions, Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2 is being led by Pearl Grey as the showrunner, creative producer and writer. It features Arhaan Behl, Pooja Gor, Anupam Shyam, Sachal Tyagi, Parvati Sehgal, Asmita Sharma, and Aalika Sheikh.
